So the people who have manufacturing jobs benefit, while the rest of us pay more for consumer goods? And instead of outsourcing our low skill jobs and placing more emphasis on highly skilled labor, we are going to incentivize those low skilled jobs?

There is a guy on Facebook who is heavily behind Trump on the whole wall issue. I have given up trying to have a discussion with him over any part of the issue. The wall stops nothing. It can be tunneled under and climbed over (do you believe that we're going to police every single foot of this thing?), drones can fly over it and drop drugs, and he continues to throw out arguments for it. It's going to stop illegal immigration. It's going to stop the heroin trade. Then, when I wasn't buying any of this, a classic Trump response: "The American people voted for it, so you're getting the wall. Enjoy it." Actually, most of us didn't.

He has yet to make a reasonable case for it, much like the President.

Infrastructure improvements, no issue. This is a complete boondoggle from the start, and it saps resources that could be used to fill genuine needs.
