You never know and we match up with the bombers on a few areas of need. The bullpen is the most cost effective way too shorten a ballgame. I'm sure all sorts of ideas and possibilities are being floated around just about now.

Trading Heaney and Richards at this point is out of the question. I'd LOVE to get Gardner but he would cost one of those two guys.

 

So how about Wilson + 10 million, Jake Jewell and Cam Bedrosian for Justin Wilson and Dustin Fowler? Angels get a pretty good LH reliever who gets righties and lefties out well and a solid OF prospect in Fowler. They save roughly 9.5 million in payroll for the year as well.

 

The Angels then use 8 million of that 9.5 million saved to sign Joakim Soria to a 3 year deal.

 

The bullpen going into 2016 is then:

 

Street

Soria

Smith

Gott

Wilson

Ramos

Rasmus

 

Non-tender Salas because **** that guy. Save about 1.5 million total while vastly improving the bullpen. Then Arte can get silly on LF and 2B.
