I've read rumors of the Angels supposed interest in dealing for another MR. If they could get Benoit without giving up too much, that would make for a pretty sick back end of the bullpen. Benoit, Smith, Street would be sweet.

Damn. San diego is a gead scratcher. On the one hand i get it, theyre a let down. On the other, they still have a solid core...maybe trade off a part or two here or there, but hold on to the core and add this offseason?

If that's the case, price might be cheap as long as team just takes on rest of Bruce's salary. He's set to make $12 million next season I believe, then has a club option in 2017 for $13.5 million($1 million buyout)

Risk involved obviously because he's relatively unproven but he's got more upside IMO than anybody out there....and he plays 2 positions we need help at, 3b and LF....

Good for the Pirates. Not sure how well Ramirez is doing this year,but I hope he helps them make ta decent run in October.

Torn on who I'd rather the team go after,Braun or Gomez (if either are even available).  One is a lying cheat, the other seems like a cocky DB, but both could help our LF situation.
