Anyone feel bad for Torii?

He had chances to help the Angels get to a World Series and couldn't do it. This maybe his last chance but he has had several chances over the years. Just didn't work out. Tigers inability to play defense, run the bases and get shut down innings from the BP killed their chances. Two grand slams in span of four games from the BP ? That's you difference right there.

His son was indicted on a rape charge. I don't think he has a perfect life in anyway, lots of hate here for no reason. Yeah, he's said some dumb things before but that doesnt make him a bad guy.

He was charged but not indicted by the grand jury. The Hunters are now suing.

A false accusation against a young man can have a huge impact on his life. However as we have seen in so many times , when it comes to athletes, if you can perform someone will give you a chance. With Hunters financial means his son will still be able to go to college and receive an education. Young mr. Hunter should be fine. Recanting her story doesn't mean it didn't happen. But his accuser should definitely be help accountable. If she lied she should be charged with a crime. If she is just scared to pursue charges against a prominent name she needs help from her community. I have my own issues with Tori but his children should never be involved in a story about feeling bad for Tori not being in the World Series.

I feel bad for him but he's the only one on that team I like. Which is one more than I like on Boston.

While I would have liked to see him get a ring, I really don't have a stake in this. The Angels aren't in the big dance, so I really don't think about it. I'd rather feel badly for someone who is struggling in life against some tragedy, or those who are honestly trying to make a living and are in dire straits. Torii has a great life, and yes, he worked hard to get there and I respect that, but I can't honestly say I feel bad for a ballplayer because they didn't get  a WS ring. In the whole scheme of things it isn't that important in my book.

So we can only feel bad tradgedies?
