Trayvon Martin/George Zimmerman verdict

The jurors have been debriefed and now in deliberation. What's on the line:

- Guilty of 2nd degree murder

- Guilty of manslaughter

- No guilty

 

This is a tough one. Not sure if there is enough evidence for 2nd degree murder. Ultimately Zimmerman killed an innocent kid and hope he's guilty of something.

All I know about this case is that a mexican looking white dude killed a black kid. The evidence that the liberal media has allowed us to see makes the mexican whitey look guilty. The conservative radio guys make him seem innocent. I bet he gets off completely. The prosecution's witnesses testified in a manner which made me think they were witnesses for the defense.

IMO the trial seemed way too short for there to be any sort of convincing evidence. He may be charged with some things, but I doubt murder will be one of them.

I'd like to see him get manslaughter. 2nd degree murder is too harsh, I think. It seems to me that Zimmerman and Trayvon both played their part in the shots being fired.

It's tragic, because the case is "He said/He's dead".  As has been said already, only Zimmerman knows exactly what happened.  The Judge has been completely out of order, and the Florida "Stand your Ground" self-defense law makes it seem like the trial was born out of the medias' frenzy.

I've seen photos and read plenty from both sides to paint both Zimmerman and Martin as Angels or Devils, but Zimmerman should be held accountable in some way.  And absolutely never hold another firearm again.

He was armed and he initiated the confrontation. He's 100% responsible for the death of the kid.
