Trayvon Martin/George Zimmerman verdict

Recommended Posts

If Zimmerman had listened to the police, who told him to stay away, none of this would have happened. Hard to believe a man carrying a gun, looking for a confrontation, ends up killing someone and gets off. Then again, it's Florida.

No income tax and you get away with murder, looking into living situations shortly.

Florida also allows you to shield millions of dollars of assets from being garnished following civil lawsuits so long as those assets are in the form of equity in your "primary domicile"

On a side note, a nice little media touch. My phone homepage is automatically Yahoo who has the main story, headline, and pic of Zimmerman smiling.

While this is a high profile case that should garner a top story, seeing him smiling kind of seems wrong when a kid is dead. Just kind of odd they chose that picture.

Imagine how angry you folks would be that wanted Zimmerman hanged from a tree if the jury would have been 6 white men.  Instead it was 6 women.

Get over it.  The prosecution did a poor job (I'm told) and there was only circumstantial evidence.

Interesting choice of words there.  I do agree that from what I've heard the prosecution did a terrible job and we're seeing the results of it.

To add to all of this, there was a woman yesterday sentenced to 20 years in prison for firing a couple of warning shots. Then you have plaxico buress who served two years in jail for shooting himself. Lots o f outrage out and about right now.
