That's a lot of gaslighting from the Mayor.

But I'm glad they are focused on the safety and well being of the citizens in Oakland.  I know I always felt safe and well looked after whenever I'd see them dragging the bay for bodies.

Hopefully the A's get their ballpark.

I didn't read the whole thing.

Any mention of a change in uniforms?

Yellow and green color scheme with a elephant as the mascot is a total clash with the city and the desert.

The most interesting thing about this announcement, is that the location isn't one of the sites that was previously rumored.   Dean Martin Drive and Tropicana Blvd.  @Stradling  Congratulations.  That In N Out has gone to ludicrous speed in terms of business.

Will give me another activity to enjoy in Vegas. Who the hell would want to go to Oakland without a bp vest?

The only thing questionable about the A's move is whether this is the right market. Though if anything it sets up the dominoes for two expansion markets, as it was one of the line items holding that up.

The A's have been screwing their fans for years.  This isn't a surprise.

The funny thing is LV is actually a small market and it will allow the A's to continue to benefit from revenue sharing. The TV market is small too... Salt Lake City's TV market is bigger.

That franchise will have gone from Philadelphia to Kansas City to Oakland to LV.

People will argue that LV is a destination city and fans from Chicago, Cleveland or wherever will plan trips to LV when their teams play there.  Well, LV isn't much of a destination city in the summer....

I hate the A's, so all this is kind of funny to me.

The only ones I might feel sorry for are the kids who have grown up as A's fans. Then again, if you're a kid and and A's fan, that's bad parenting.  So, they're probably better off seeing their team move.

We are in the process of building one just south of Alegiant Stadium.
