Dylan Bundy to the Angels for Isaac Mattson, Zach Peek, Kyle Bradish, and Kyle Brnovich

Definitely some potential upside there for Bundy, especially getting out of Camden/the AL East in general. But the results still haven't really been there so far in his career. We'll see what happens. Throw him in the back end of the rotation and perhaps he'll put it all together.

There's some intriguing underlying stuff with Bundy, so I don't mind taking a flier, especially for that cheap a price. Definitely hope this isn't viewed as much more than a depth option by the team. Angels need a front line arm and another mid rotation arm still. Bundy can be part of the battle for the 4th/5th spot or even be turned into a reliever who can go multiple innings

I pointed out earlier, Bundy has a 2.97 ERA vs the AL West, excluding the Angels, in 100 IP or so. Think he’s a great arm to try out. Hopefully they consider another arm behind a potential Cole signing too, but it could be of the Roark/Teheran mold now.

slow down the happy kids... twiiter saying we sent FOUR minor pitchers in this deal.

To send back that many gives me hope that none are too vital to give up. This is partially why Eppler has been drafting tons of pitching in recent drafts. It’s always valuable trade currency.

Bundy's K/BB and K/9 looks pretty good. Dude has just gotten hit a lot in the past, which is what brings up that ERA and WHIP. Not facing/starting in places like Baltimore, Boston, and New York all the time could help some with that.

well see when the names are known but if weve heard of any of them thats troubling to send that much.

Bundy's slider is a legit weapon but his fastball is terrible and gets hammered.
