There is almost no chance the DNC allows their candidate to be either of those 2 things, regardless of votes/polls.   At this point i would put money on a Harris/Warren ticket, maybe Booker...  and another Dem loss.   With Beto getting the nod post Trump.   Of course the loss issue depends on how fast they can get the amnesty recipients into  the voting registrars.

John Delaney's efforts in Iowa are starting to pay off. He's ramping up his campaign there with new offices and staffers, meeting the people.

The other candidates are getting off to a slow start, hoping their national name recognition will be enough.

Iowa caucuses are first up on the primary schedule.
