North Korea leader tells military to be ready to use nuclear weapons at any time

Recommended Posts

A US strike against North Korea's nukes could prevent a far greater threat on the horizon

Some valid points on the greater threat if we let Short Round continue.  Besides a nuclear Asia going into an arms race, in which I would think Japan and SK could have nukes in days if they wanted to.  With the threat of China, Phillipines and Vietnam might start working on their own programs.  The other threat is, as toothless as the world has been to NK.  Iran must be thinking, fuck if this is all they will do, might as well build up and become a world power.  Followed by the Saudi's saying, we can't let that happen and start their own program.  And we got that dude in Venezuela who would love the world stage.

How in the hell have countries not sent in Special Forces from around the world to plant one between piggy's eyes? Diplomacy will never work here. Unmarked soldiers with weapons/equipment that's 100% untraceable. End this.

Think how relatively risky sending forces in to kill Osama Bin Laden was . That mission could have failed in ten different ways. And the worse case scenario was a relatively few fatalities and national embarrassment. What you suggest is magnitudes harder and the worse case scenario is nigh unthinkable.

An utter fail.  Four administrations, both parties, no excuses.

Sure, this is definitely true

But the fucking lunatic has his finger on a trigger that could kill millions of South Koreans right now. yes this should have been dealt with at least a decade ago. But the risk of going in and attacking the fat fuck is incredible at this point.

The bottom line is they've let this get so out of control that you almost have to let Kim make the first move before you wipe them off the face of the earth. If you go in and invade, then Kim launches a missile at South Korea and kills 2 million people, Trump looks like a huge jackass.

Today's missle launch was long enough to hit Guam.

A message to Guam. 3,700 kilometers, with little doubt, is North Korea’s longest-ever demonstrated ballistic missile range now—surpassing the  2,700 kilometers demonstrated on August 29. 3,700 kilometers, however, also resonates strategically for North Korea. It credibly demonstrates that the country could strike the U.S. territory of Guam, if it desired.

No. This should have been dealt with 6 decades ago

We were not willing to drop the bomb with a billion Chinese ready to sweep across and wipe out the tired US army that was occupying the lower parallel.

America was pretty sick of war at this point having so many coffins filled since 1941. The cease fire was supposed to bring along real peace talks that never bore fruit and no President was willing to start the machine back up.

Now we have a backwards nation that learned how to read science books and are stuck with a totalitarian regime, that is actually revered by it's people, using their new found weapons to force their agenda.

Their diplomacy at this point is that of unconditional surrender of the US for the war that was never resolved. It will have to have resolution. Are we giving in or starting the death machinery again?

Fair question to ask. It gets complicated because of China and Russia, not to mention the 800 lb. gorilla of the US creating regime change through assassination (yes, I know our hands are bloody in many other instances where we've done this). We can't loudly decry state-sponsored terrorism and then turn around and use our version of it to eliminate a national leader we don't like or who poses a threat to our interests.

Then again, maybe seal team six has some vacation time coming up and are curious about visiting parts of Asia for some much needed live target practice with the allies.

I would like to see the next unannounced long range missile test shot out of the sky once it leaves Korean airspace and on trajectory towards any other land mass.

What could Jong say, it's no longer on their soil and free game to be determined as hostile since North Korea keeps making threats to bomb Japan, South Korea and Guam.

Immediately the US demands North Korea come to the bargaining table on the grounds the cease fire was violated. See who blinks.

That plan assumes technology allowing the US to shoot ICBMs out of the sky works. From what I recall the recent tests the US did were very controlled and the results were mixed at best.
