Easily the most entertaining player of my lifetime. Unfortunately that was as a player. As a hitting coach we could end up seeing all the downside of Bonds the person, and none of the awe that he generated as a player. I think it's good for the game though, to give him a shot as being a successful hitting coach.

I hope Bonds' re-introduction to baseball leads to him getting in the hall of fame eventually. A hall of fame without the person who is by far the best player in the lifetime of anyone aged under 55 serves very little purpose.
