Toronto became the first American League team since the 1977 Royals to pull off two winning streaks of at least 10 games in the same season.

 

The Blue Jays have completely transformed their roster and, at least for the moment, can seemingly do no wrong. That will eventually change, but as things currently stand, everything is clicking. The starters have allowed three earned runs or less in 16 consecutive starts, the bullpen hasn't surrendered a run over their last 23 innings and the lineup continues to hit.

Their run differential is crazy.  I know some people on here dismiss Pythagorean won-loss records, but their run differential (611 runs scored, 473 allowed) suggests that they should be 71-44.  They're currently at 63-52.

Getting Price was clutch. They now have that go-to ace in a playoff series. Their offense was already ridiculous and will continue to mash.

Tulowitzki has batted .184 in August so far. The Jays are 11-1 this month. They're 13-0 in games where he has started and led off.

 

Go figure.
