LMAO dumbasses.

New York (AFP) - New York police Tuesday were eating extra helpings of humble pie after asking people to post images of themselves and NYPD officers on Twitter -- only to face a deluge of pictures of alleged police brutality.

"Do you have a photo w/ a member of the NYPD? Tweet us & tag it #myNYPD. It may be featured on our Facebook," the department posted on its NYPD News Twitter feed, hoping to fuel a feel-good, low-cost public relations campaign.

The result was anything but.

Images and tweets of many arrests of demonstrators went viral, including such presumed lowlights as an officer pulling the hair of a handcuffed young black woman and another of the bloodied face of an 84-year-old stopped for jaywalking.

One image showing police after striking a protestor brought the remark "Here the #NYPD engages with its community members, changing hearts and minds one baton at a time." ...

Eyes Over Compton: How Police Spied on a Whole City

In a secret test of mass surveillance technology, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department sent a civilian aircraft* over Compton, California, capturing high-resolution video of everything that happened inside that 10-square-mile municipality.

Compton residents weren't told about the spying, which happened in 2012. "We literally watched all of Compton during the times that we were flying, so we could zoom in anywhere within the city of Compton and follow cars and see people,"

.....

Sgt. Douglas Iketani acknowledges that his agency hid the experiment to avoid public opposition. "This system was kind of kept confidential from everybody in the public,"he said. "A lot of people do have a problem with the eye in the sky, the Big Brother, so to mitigate those kinds of complaints we basically kept it pretty hush hush."

Bastards seem very proud of their lawbreaking.

I assume the price of applesauce and apple juice are going to be going up soon, because this season's crop seems to have quite a few "bad apples".

Two LA sheriffs were found planting evidence at a pot dispensary.  Tripped up by those pesky video surveillance cameras.

The sheriff's Internal Criminal Investigation Bureau began investigating the incident a year later and discovered video from inside the dispensary that was "inconsistent" with the report filed by the deputies, prosecutors said.

In other words, they lied on the police report.

That was awesome.  Did they kill him though?  Think they rubber bulletted him.  Because there was no blood gushing out, and he was moving in pain like a dead guy.

I'm sorry, but you are an idiot.  You think that is awesome?

Ouch.  So do the right thing and use non lethal force in a beanbag, then open fire thinking that he was shooting.  Maybe the police should have orange tips on those beanbag guns, and have it expel pink smoke and glitter to indicate it was a non lethal shot.

So they can blame the colorblind police officer in the shooting.
