F'n Dipoto! You traded a guy with a 2.89 ERA for a guy with a 3.50 ERA and a 30 HR/100 RBI guy for a 5.00 ERA guy.

Right here! I can't believe Dipoto pulled this off.

I'll miss Trumbo. Home grown and was fun to watch, but this deal is better for the team going forward. They need to replace a .750 OPS hitter, which I think is possible with some of these FA bats out there. They'll lose some power in the lineup, but they could still make it better overall if they find somebody who can get on base at a good clip to help create more run scoring opportunities

Probably cause this is the first time Dipoto makes a trade that fits with what he says his beliefs are.

I was one of those who thought that Trumbo wouldn't net much.  Sorry to see him go, I have a sneaking suspicion that he will do something great at some point.

I think we got more for Trumbo based on his interest from 12 teams. Made his value go up. Credit to Dipoto for pulling this one off. Amazing deal.

One of them is right here....and I admit I was wrong....thought we'd get a middling return....nobody wins a trade on the day you make it but this one looks solid to me....I still think Bourjos to the Cards was a really bad deal but, we'll see on both of them...

Skaggs is still only 22 years old and still developing. Even with the down year, I'm still amazed they got a prospect of this caliber for a player like Trumbo. Santiago added in was just gravy on top
