I was just thinking, the thing that held this team back this year was Rob Picciolo.

Thought i was just being paranoid. Glad it wasn't just me.

He just never seemed comfortable standing around in case sosh got kicked out. We need someone better at doing nothing.

Nobody looks as good as Butcher when he makes a trip to the mound. Strong, resolute gait. Serious expression. Deep-set eyes, very impressive presence out there.

 

The rest of it is crap, of course. But those trips to the mound are awesome.

I do find the idea of letting Eppard go and keeping Butcher curious.  From the outside it seems that they don't see what the issues on the team are.

This is the way I feel about it. It just seems a little strange.

 

Having 2 pitching coaches is odd to me as well.

Eh, I don't mind it. I wouldn't have been opposed to seeing Sosh go, but I also am fine with him staying. This is the make or break year for them

 

 

Fix the pitching. That was the problem. I'm not sure if they can fix it in one offseason, but we'll see. I'd like to see them get Tanaka and then trade one of Trumbo/Kendrick/Bourjos as part of a deal to get another arm

I'll bet the new hitting coach will be....Mickey Hatcher.  Arte is letting this idiot run the team into the ground.  Good luck getting a new stadium deal/renovation with this POS team while the Dodgers are winning big right up the 405.
