I have a conspiracy theory as to the real reason it was cancelled.

China.

That show at first sucked the dick of China.  But then as the season went on, it was apparent that the chick was more Hong Kong or Taiwan than China.  And considering how strict the censorship is there in China, I wouldn't be surprised if Netflix got a stern letter written to them about being shut out of the market.

Netflix:  The Haunting of Bly Manor  This is the next story, with the first being the Haunting of Hill House.  IMO, Haunting of Hill House is probably one of the top 10 things Netflix has ever produced.  So Bly Manor has some big shoes to fill, and it didn't fill them.  Overall, it's a good season.  It really starts off slow, but picks up in the middle.  Ending shifted tracks a bit.  It's worth watching if you are a Haunting of Hill House fan.  And this isn't really a horror series like Hill House.  I'd recommend watching Hill House first, then follow it up with Bly Manor.

Watched S1 of Cardinal. It's a really good show. Doesn't feel that much different from other homicide dramas, but the writing is solid enough to keep me watching.
