Is anyone else worried about Taylor Ward's injury?

It’s day 4 now, a few days not starting could easily stretch to 5-6 more days.

How long can they continue to put Wade in the OF?

Please tell me this isn’t leading to shoulder surgery?

It does seem smarter to just IL him at this point.

I wasnt, till it started dragging out.  If hes not able to play for another week the put him on the IL and get a real outfielder up here.  This fascination with a roster of MIF playing everywhere is getting really old really fast.

This injury is so prototypical of the Angels. 

It goes from no news, to Ward saying he's "feeling great, should be back Tuesday", to Ward getting "just a precautionary MRI, everything's fine!", to Ward being a lineup no-show Tuesday, to "Ward has lost all strength in his throwing shoulder, will maybe be back soon".

Ohtani can always pinch hit late in those games vs righties.

He was at 47% yesterday, so today he is at 51.7%.
