Yep just one of many I was listening to the Sound radio station one morning and Mark(formerly Mark and Brian) had an engineer break down all of the instruments to the song Roseanna it was pretty cool.

Christian James Hand is the guy that does the breakdowns. He has an afternoon drive time show in the sound and has live shows where he dissects songs. Really cool stuff.

I have been going old school listening to Toto recently. They have some really talented people. I guess most of them were the studio musicians for Michael Jackson's Beat It besides Eddie Van Halen playing lead guitar.

Incredible musicians.

1. that was not the Ice, Ice Baby i was expecting to hear.

2. that vancouver grizzlies hat was fly.

The hat is nice, but I was more impressed with the Kansas Leftoverture album cover on the wall.

Whitney's entire album is pretty neat.

But I really like this song. They're actual musicians (sorry if that sounds condescending) and he has a unique voice.

I included a live version and the studio version.

I admit to having nearly zero appreciation for music. My taste is extremely narrow and I'm not qualified to tell anyone what is good or not. That said, this is the worst thing I've ever heard in my entire life.

LOL..Tom Waits is definitely an acquired taste. It ain't pop (which is why I took time and read his lyrics and learned what he was about) I'm one of those people that appreciates stuff that is well off the beaten musical path.

I listened to the three songs posted here, and I can't really picture any scenario where I'd purposely say "hey, let's play some Tom Waits."
