The old Taco Bell on PCH in Laguna Beach was legendary in the 60's early 70's for scoring hash and acid.

Agreed. They would be in the discussion when debating the strongest 3 year run in music history. 67' to 69' was prodigious.

I used to go to one on Western Ave in San Pedro in the mid 60's. It had a circular fire pit out front and it was open from all sides. Something you could never do today because of liability issues.

I used to listen to that station when I went to sleep at night. Not a knock against it at all, it's just a very relaxing station.
