For me the '76-77 off season was the best.  Signings of free agents Joe Rudi, Don Baylor and Bobby Grich gave the long suffering fans a huge boost.

I hope so. No offense to the guy, but the Angels have other options to do the same thing.

I do worry that Maddon seemed to like him and he wasn't atrocious, so there's a chance he could stick.

I'm confident the Angels can find another pitcher just like Junior Guerra for the 2022 season.  Its what the Angels do well....an almost uncanny superhero ability to consistently find and cultivate garbage relief pitching.

Not that anyone expected Wallach to be the back-up, but this pretty much confirms a back-up catcher is on the shopping list.

I do not think Thaiss is expected to be the back-up going into ST. Doesn’t mean he can’t take the job, but I don’t expect them to go with a guy with 400 innings caught as the main guy. Especially if Stassi gets hurt again.
