Are the A's that good or do they know the Angels so well?

Thoughts? We seem to handle both the Ms and Astros relatively well despite multiple losses, but this year we've been totally shut down by Oakland. I don't get it.

I don’t get it either.  Yes, the A’s are better but not that much.

They're a well balanced team that play well together, with a good starting rotation. I believe four of their pitchers each have at least 20 starts this year.

They're not a great team but good enough. And their manager is solid and has been there for ten years.

They're a very good team. They don't have a superstar on their roster like they once did with Reggie, McGwire, or Giambi. But they have a bunch of good players on both sides of the ball. Their starting rotation is pretty good, they have a terrific defense, an they have a very good bullpen.

Right now, all the better teams know that they can beat us as long as they can get to our bullpen. Even with our much improved starting staff, they will try to run up pitch counts as much as they can. Then in the late innings they have at it. Our defense, kicking the ball around and throwing errors help it be that much easier for opponents.
