You sorta knew when Fletcher struck out swinging, that was a sign this guy was going to be on his game.  It's so rare to see Fletcher swing and miss.  Hopefully our guys can at least battle and drive up his pitch count, so we can get to their bullpen a bit earlier.

Tonight is very different from the last time they interviewed him in spring training.  That one was absolutely painful--though that may have in part been due to the fact that Terry Smith was interviewing him.

Ideally, I'd like to see our hitters make Giolito throw 6-7 pitches per hitter.  He's looking really tough, but if they can at least drive his pitch count up, we can get him out of the game.
