  1. Yep. He might as well just stay home and cover the Halos (kinda like the radio crew on road games), he can offer just as much insight as he would derive from being in the clubhouse.
  2. I haven't seen that episode, but I'm betting a coconut was involved!
  3. Victor Rojas said it on the last AngelsWin podcast, "Things change when the games get real."
  4. For those of us who don't believe that "Arte sucks", your post qualifies as "negative."
  5. He is simply unwatchable right now. Unfortunately, he was on pace to strike out 200 times last year, and he doesn't appear to have fixed the problem.
  6. Trout still has that hole in his swing. Hopefully he can fix because he's been putting up Dave Kingman-like strikeout numbers.
  7. I visited this site just to read the thread about the interview. That's how bad of an offseason we're having!!
  8. I WOULD like to thank Chuck, Geoff, and Victor for all their hard work bringing us these podcasts, but this last podcast regarding the "this is where players go to die" was just both too true and too depressing. What was even more depressing was when Geoff said that any free agent we sign probably doesn't want to win, otherwise they wouldn't come to Anaheim. Merry Christmas to the crew, I'm just gonna skip it this year.
  9. He also must have been frustrated by the Trout and Rendon situations. Shohei would play both games of a doubleheader, while Rendon refused to explain his injury, and Trout shut himself down after one game of an attempted comeback.
  10. Agree. The unfortunate truth is that both Rendon AND Trout would clear waivers.
  11. For 700 million, we could have had Pujols, CJ Wilson, Hamilton, and 1/2 of Rendon!
  12. Thanks for nothing Shohei!!! NEVER AGAIN will we cuck ourselves by wearing the effing Kabuto! Wait...is that Yamawhatshisface still available??
  13. and you forgot to mention that the Halos needed a replacement for Brett Phillips... with a guy who has a career batting average 20 points lower... and gets paid 7 times as much...
  14. Leadership from our veterans. Something is suspect when our rookies (O'Hoppe and Neto) sense the leadership void and choose to shoulder the load. A true clubhouse leader NEVER would have let Rendon get away with the crap he chose to do last year. Tony NoBags also displayed his disrespect for both Nevin AND the rest of the Halos. The fact that Ron Washington is on record saying that he will teach Trout and Rendon how to be leaders, also speaks volumes.
