Are you trying to make a point that the Angels shouldn't be so focused on big names and retaining expensive players and should be more willing to cycle through players?  What if the Marlins fans feel the opposite and want someone like Yelich to stick around for them?  I'll tell ya what, losing great players hurts, regardless if you are good or not.

Did American hero Eddy Alvarez make the post season roster?  

 

They actually have a few names, like Angel fan favorite Matt Joyce, Jesus Aguilar was solid just a couple years ago, Jazz Chizholm, Sixto Sanchez, and of course Lewis Brinson were prospects they got in separate offseason deals over the past couple years.  Starling Marte they got this year.

 

I just looked up how they acquired Pablo Lopez.  Dipoto traded him (and other minor leaguers) for 10 whole games of David Phelps.
