We might've gone the opposite route we should've with GMs. Dipoto followed by Eppler leads to Eppler rebuilding farm while at times having questionable major leaguers (to be fair, I like Eppler, hard to pin these injuries on him). 

But Eppler followed by Dipoto?? Eppler and crew stocks the hell out of the farm, Dipoto blows that to hell but ends up with like 5 superstar talents for a few years, winning a WS or 3.

As Mariners are proving this year, sequencing matters a ton. May not be best predictor of long term success, but I'd take 5 years of purgatory for a WS or two.

AO, you know what he has been doing, you know the restrictions he has had.  If you want to be upset about Cozart go for it.  Want to be upset about Valbuena, ok.  But to get upset about a dude that was basically free and is simply filling out a roster, or to get upset about Upton’s extension coming off of a 5 win season in a season where he will be closer to 4 than a 3, where he has an OPS+ of 121, well it is just you over reacting, again.  If you continue to call him ineptler, it really is ignoring what he has actually done, which is rebuilt the worst farm system in the history of baseball to a top half of baseball farm in under 3 years.  Ignoring that is you being stale.
