And if he got thrown out going to second I would agree with you.  He made a wide turn and got thrown out.  That is a Simmons error not a philosophy error.

Alfredo didn’t send him, Simmons just fucked up.  He took a wide turn and got thrown out.  Someone basically did to him what he does to others.

Everyone makes a wide turn at first when the throw is going into third.  He just failed to get back.  You’ve played the game, that is what you are supposed to do, but you are supposed to get back.

Sure. I just expect major leaguers to have a little bit more situational awareness. Get on first, stay there. Trout’s up next. It’s not rocket science.
