I had Shake Shack only once, in DC about 5 years ago. Three burgers, 2 fries, 2 sodas and a shake was over $63.  I was a little shocked by the price.  It was a really good burger though.

Weird, apparently shake shack is way cheaper here. I’ve had meals delivered multiple times for under $20 after everything.

Because the business model is to give people way more than they want and charge them accordingly. Make them ask to downsize instead of asking to supersize

I bought a Costco rotisserie chicken today, for the first time.

It's damn good and at $4.99 it's ridiculously cheap.

there's a KFC less than a mile from my house. went there a few weeks ago to try their new plant-based chicken. it was acceptable and reminded me of some of the soy products we use. it was my first time eating at a KFC so i tried the mashed potatoes (meh), biscuits (okay but dry), and the cole slaw (decent and would eat again). they also had a peach mountain dew that was way, way too sweet. just wanted to try a sip or two but it came with the meal. would not get one again.

it's nice to have another option if i should need one.

My wife likes their plant-based chicken. McDonald's is coming out with a plant-based burger soon.
