He didnt need tracers. Tracers are nice when you are shooting in full or close to full darkness. The crowd he was shooting into was illuminated by stadium lights for the concert. He absolutely had enough light to see basically where his rounds were hitting.

That i couldnt say. I know what youre getting at, and if that did work, it would be obviously horrible. And maybe that was his intent.

Im honestly suprised, if the reports are accurate, that bullets actually penetrated those fuel containers. I think the matrial theyre made out of is heavy enough that a .223 round (especially at distance) wouldnt penetrate.

Just got to say as someone who helped in the aftermath it was a great job by so many. It was something we  knew would happen someday unfortunately but great job all around.
