Dustin Brown fined $10k for cross checking Justin Schultz at 6:36 of the 3rd period last night in L.A. Evgeni Malkin fined $5k for spearing Brown one second later. Difference in fines is because Brown had a hearing and Malkin did not.

I can't remember seeing someone get cross checked like that while on their knees. Brown took 3 strides after Schultz fell to his knees. Especially since Schultz just came back from concussion like symptoms. Player Safety is something.

Last night wasn't all on Quick, but he is giving up some soft goals lately.    Although after all he's meant to the org, a slump is perfectly understandable. 

Somebody needs to straighten the wheel for this team.  5-10-2 in the past 17 games is totally unacceptable!
