Angels Trade Frieri for Grilli

Not completely.  Mike (for whatever reason) was incapable of not bringing Frieri in.  If nothing else, there's that.

Wow wasnt expecting Frieri to be dealt. Not sure how I feel about this right now, I just hope Grilli can give them quality innings.

Victor Rojas made a great point on twitter... had numbers persisted - Ernesto was a non-tender candidate.  Dipoto did get something for Ernesto when there wasn't a market for him - it might not pan out, but worth a shot.

So, has anyone in the FO actually thought about it and said to themselves maybe it's our pitching coach? I don't mean to continue to beat the same drum. But, seriously. I'm concerned that we once again we have a pitcher that was doing pretty well and he just went to pot over a season.

 

This isn't the 1st time it has happened. And I'm also not going to trot out the list of pitchers either....I'll leave that for AO~

 

Why is it that the pitchers keep getting thrown under the bus? And when is it a Coaching issue?

It isn't the pitching coach or the manager.

Grilli's had a rough first half, doesn't mean he can't turn it around for the second one.

 

Same can be said about Frieri.

 

Just hope it works out for us instead!
