The Angels were 6.5 and 8.5 games out at this point in 2012 and 2013, respectively.

2.5 games out in a division full of teams with big question marks isn't bad. It will be like this all year with probably 3 games seperating the top 3 in the division. Hopefully the pen can get it together.

Yeah, it sucked losing two of three to the Rangers (especially the last one) and last night's loss also sucked (give some of the blame to the offense, too).  But we're 2.5 games out of first and one day away from being in second.  The sky isn't falling.  It's not even overcast yet.
