just when you thought that perhaps Donald Sterling couldn't be more embarrassing........

did anyone notice another one of those full page ads (LA TIMES) honoring Sterling for his contributions to UCLA med center today and naming one of the buildings/ facilities after him?

this guy is just beyond stupid........geez.

Gotta feel for Doc Rivers -- just a great coach, one of the best in the NBA - handled this whole ridiculous situation well --

QUESTION? Why is Doc Rivers and a player like Chris Paul over with the Clippers?  This could solve the Lakers trouble real quick.

Of course, Commissioner Stern didn't help when he nixed that Chris Paul deal to the Lakers -- I trace the Lakers' problems to the day that deal got vetoed by the league and then Paul gets signed by a very ungrateful Clippers organization.

Good guy Doc Rivers shouldn't have to be dealing with this nonsense.

Magic is aggressively trying to buy the Clippers with other partners. Magic could save this organization if that happened.

About the trade being nixed to the Lakers. New Orleans would have ended up with an aging Pau Gasol and Lamar Odom which is an easy loss for them. But what they actually receiver was Austin Rivers, Eric Gordon, Chris Kaman and a pick that eventually turned into ANTHONY DAVIS! So I would say the league made the right move considering Davis might already be top 15 talent in the league

CarMax backed out of their sponsorship deal with the Clippers.  State Farm said they are monitoring the situation, which means their lawyers are figuring out how to void the contract.

My favorite thing is all the Clippers fans defending him saying he was illegally recorded... stay classy, Clippers fans.

The Davis pick was their pick. They didn't receive it in a trade.

The pick was Austin Rivers not Davis

You are beyond wrong with all of this. Gasol would have gone to Houston. New Orleans would have received Lamar Odom, Kevin Martin, Luis Scola and Goran Dragic along with a first round pick from the rockets (Rockets were not good that year, missed the playoffs). That sounds better than what they got. Anthony Davis they got on their own, had nothing to do with a trade.

Clippers players and fans are some of the biggest thugs in the league.  Couldn't have happened to a better team.

Anyway up to five sponsors including KIA and State Farm that have dropped their sponsorship's.

It's not as if we haven't known for years that Sterling is a slumlord, etc.  Everybody's walking around in shock like we had no idea Sterling is a giant POS.

Yeah exactly.  One of the reasons I always found it hilarious that Clippers fans are basically Clippers fans because they hate the Lakers.  Instead they support one of the scummiest owners in all of US pro sports.

As long as he's writing  checks to the naacp, hospitals, Democrat politicians, etc. they don't give a flying fig if he's racist.

One thing goes against the Lakers and they still can't get over it after 2 years. Meanwhile the Lakers finished with one of the worst records in basketball this year and after this Sterling thing, they will still have a better year than the Clippers

well, the nixing of the Chris Paul deal was huge and then the Clips got Doc Rivers as coach and suddenly they are a power/ team to be reckoned with.........of course they always maintained the ability to under-mined by Donald Sterling who's worst owner in sports/ embarrassing owner label has been somewhat kept under wraps in recent years -- until NOW......

It's just unfortunate that a coach as good of a guy as Doc Rivers is, has to go through this nonsense.  He seems to handle all situations, from championship rings to difficult days like this, with class.
