I thought the books and show were up to par. This says to not read if you haven't read the books though, is this safe for just a show viewer?

Well there's definitely book information in there. I don't know if I would call them spoilers since we are all equally caught up. You show watchers would just probably not understand a lot of stuff because you aren't o the up and up on the background of the "spoilers". If you want to play it safe, I wouldn't read the article.

I wouldn't read it...there are things that still might be introduced in the tv show. In some cases they are caught up...in others they might have adjusted some timelines

An MTV News writer broke the case open.

The best part is because it's a fantasy series, they can bring him back with no logical reason and make it make sense. Then some nerd will come out of the woodwork saying he said this three years ago with venn diagrams and family trees.

I actually don't care if he does come back or not, but got a kick out of the emotional outbursts and instant denial by a good majority.

Kit Harrington was spotted in Belfast the other day (where they film The Wall scenes). He told fans he couldn't take pictures with them because he had to keep a low profile.

HBO president of programming killing more nerds fantasies:

 

The exec also discussed the fate of fan favorite Jon Snow (SPOILER ALERT). Snow appeared to be fatally stabbed in June's Season Five finale, but since the episode, there has been rampant speculation that the character either didn't die or will return from the dead. The HBO boss adamantly explained, "Dead is dead is dead is dead. He be dead. Yes. Everything I've seen and heard and read, Jon Snow is indeed dead."
