I hope not. Even 7 is too many. It's very rare that shows can go longer than 5-ish seasons and retain their top-notch quality.

Pretty boring

It's going to take them an episode or two to line up all the pieces for this season. I expect great things from this season, especially because as I understand it they are going beyond the books as well as making some significant adjustments.

Yeah, these are non book episodes or ahead of the books now.

The show runners said this would be the most intense season because it doesn't follow the books now (bold statement), so it was kind of a let down.

Last night was kinda dull. A setup episode for the season. Still nice to see most everyone back. That final scene though was legit.
