I'd be happy with Garza on a 4 year deal but 3 years would be awesome. 

 

Oliver's projection for Garza in 2014: 173 IP 3.34 ERA 3.53 FIP 7.82 K/9 2.56 BB/9 0.94 HR/9 2.6 WAR. I think that's pretty reasonable and I think it's the exact production the Angels need next year.

I just can't imagine Garza getting a 3 yr deal if Nolaso and Vargas got 4, and Feldman,  and Hughes got 3.  I still think 5/90 is gonna be what he gets, and I really hope we aren't the ones to do that.  4/70 even seems a bit much for him but I guess I could live with that.

4/60 or 3/50. something anywhere near that would be real good for where the angels are at, and considering, even moreso, where they were at.

There's no chance he only gets 3 years unless the medicals really scare teams off. That's the perfect amount of years but Garza and his agent know teams will probably offer a 5 year deal for him.

I am saying he's a 6 but you are buying him Jewelry and prada handbags as if he were a 9.  But he's still way hotter than our previous GF named Josephine who was a 2, had gonorrhea, and sounded like Fran Drescher.

Yeah, I'm already looking at Maeda as the one the Angels are going to get.  Considering most on the geneouses on this board won't go above 3-4 years for Garza, and at his age, he is probably looking for 5-7 years as his final big payday.  And Tanaka will just be a bidding war.  Included in the bidding, with the Yankees, who did not spending all their dough on Cano, and the Dodgers ignoring the CBT.  

 

Angels bid $20 million on Maeda, and might be the high bid, and probably can get him to sign for 5/$50 million.

Maeda is a 4/5 at best. No way is he worth 70M. Maybe the 20M plus a 2/10 contract would work.

From articles I've read in the past, he's projected to be a MLB 4 pitcher.  But one comparison I've seen about his MLB projections is he's closer to Iwakuma than say a Darvish.
