After the blues tied it with about 8 minutes to go, it looked like the Kings for the most part were just trying to survive the 3rd period tied. Won't win many playoff games doing that.

On to LA where hopefully they can win both and shift the momentum a bit.

Kings win! Any win is a good win, but they better tighten up defensively - they were lucky the Blues didn't score 3 or 4 times on pretty open shots.

Hey Kopi, Olly Olly oxen free!

great win tonight!!

Series is all tied up.

We really need to win Game 5 in St.Louis and then back to Staples to take the first round series.

Kings really dominated in the third period.......seemed like the first 17 minutes of the period were all played at the Blues end of the ice......St. Louis finally made a little but of run late and Quick needed to make a save or two -- but the Kings seemed to be in either in the attacking zone the entire third or once they got the two goals to take the lead, they seemed to be kicking it back into the Blues zone the rest of the game.........St. Louis couldn't get anything going on offense third period......

St. Louis playing tough -- much better than they played against us in the regular season........We need to get that road win in St. Louis that we seem to have (power play in OT) when we gave up that fluke goal that Quick manned up and took the blame for but then quickly asserted --- time to move forward........

Hard to believe that Vancouver may get swept out of the playoffs by San Jose......not surprised at all by the Sharks winning the series -- didn't expect the brooms to be out, though.

Would not be surprised if 7th seed Detroit wins round one vs 2nd seed. Anaheim Ducks -- I don't care were the Red Wings are seeded -- they're always more like a one to three seed team to me.

Blues are lucky Quick pulled a brain freeze in game 1, otherwise it could be 3-1 Kings right now.

They also blew an early 2 goal lead tonight.

Whatever was lost in Game #1, luck restored in Game #3.  Will be interesting to see if the Kings build on the momentum or if the Blues find some sort of answer.

AngelOracle -- we could easily be up 3-1 right now -- that's absolutely true with the way the Kings played in Game One and then let it literally slip away and get stolen just as the Kings were starting a power play in OT.........but it's 2-2 and, yep, the Kings can outplay the other team all night but if they're not scoring, the other team can steal it away -- like Game One.

I'm looking forward to tomorrow night's game -- it's huge.

More of a must win for the Blues really, but if we don't win it, that means we need to win Game Six at Staples and then do something we have not done this series, win in St. Louis.

Watching the NHL playoff games -- GEEZ -- can't beat Playoff Hockey..........

and all leading up to one of the greatest moments of the sports year each year:

"Ladies & Gentleman, THE STANLEY CUP!!!!"    Those words never sounded as good as they did last year!
