    You have to wonder why Hurdle - who has the best bullpen in baseball - would bring a guy with a 19.0+ ERA into a game where the winner would claim sole possession of second place. Perhaps Scioscia isn't so bad after all?

    What are the Cardinals paying Allen Craig? Napoli's defense at first base is average. His stick is middle of the pack for first basemen. He doesn't hurt them, but there's plenty of room above what he's giving them

    Totally correct. His bat is a real asset as a catcher. If he can't be a catcher, he's wildly overpriced for what he provides.

    Have there been any reports on what treatment he got? I'm a pharmacist and have studied physiology some. It's one of those things that doesn't really ever go away.

    Whatever was lost in Game #1, luck restored in Game #3. Will be interesting to see if the Kings build on the momentum or if the Blues find some sort of answer.
