Polak just got knocked the EFF out!  First-round KO.... wow

Kings are rolling...  It's a nice dilemma to have two #1 goalies; Bernie gives-up a couple and gets pulled to embarrass/wake-up the team.  Quicker comes in, and the boys know they've got a solid backstop to allow them to take the chances to come back and win...

This is getting fun.    Daryl Evans even said on the post-game that the Kings are just too physical and are wearing most teams down in the 3rd period (15-1 in the 3rd period over something like the past 6 games).

LOL at them dropping the gloves right after the faceoff.   Clifford/Polak = Big Show/jobber  :)

Another serious Cup run in this team 2 months from now?   They are tied for 4th in the West, but we saw how the road wasn't so unkind to them this past post-season (10-1 record).

Nice to see the Kings making a real run during this home stand which continues vs. Dallas and then two games vs. Calgary (what kind of scheduling is that? oh well -- Kelly Hrudey, who's from Calgary, gets honored before this weekend's game against Calgary -- I'm sure he'll be there as part of the Hockey Night in Canada broadcast team -- Kelly Hrudey had a great run in goal for the Kings and much like Quick this past season, Hrudey became a real LA fan favorite.

Then a short one game 'road trip' to Phoenix, if you can call that a road trip -- and then some more games at home.

Kings are taking advantage of the home schedule and that's what you have to do to make the playoffs......nice to see it after the less than stellar start to the short season.

the win over the Blues Tuesday was just great -- haven't we swept St. Louis this year? I think we're 3-0 vs. them.

Kings move into 4th with a nice 6-2 win over the Flames.

8-2 in their last 10 games. Looks like they are putting it together for a playoff run.

Carter with 13 goals in the last 13 game to give him 17.

took my daughter to her very first kings game last night. had a good time, but she was cold the entire game. it was colder than usual inside the building, even to me, but she endured. she'll bundle up better next time.

kings were solid all around the first two periods, but the third period was all flames. they really cranked up the energy and most of the play was in the kings zone. kings didn't have much of an answer for them in the third, but quick was outstanding and they did just enough to win.

playing that way against a good team will be a big problem. overall, it was a good win last night and got them to 30 points for the halfway point in the season. the way they started out, 30 points for the season looked like a big hill to climb. proud of what they've done, but still such a long, difficult way to go.
