How was channel 9 able to broadcast the game today? I thought only the contracted networks could do that.

Yeah, Channel 9 and 2 are both CBS.  I think maybe 13 too?  Or that might be ABC.

even knowing that, I was still surprised they were allowed to televise since they're more of an independent station and not the actual network channel.

@Glen after watching 30 minutes of incompetence which was only three minutes of clock time on the field, Jacksonville and San Diego was the perfect matchup. There were a half dozen turnovers in which neither team seemed to want to actually win this game. Add into it a couple of unsportsmanlike and pass interference calls this was a great example of how to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

It has finally ended in overtime and almost didn't. The Chargers managed to partially block the game winning field goal but it somehow wobbled over the goal posts. 

Turrible, just turrible.

I haven't watched any football all year. A part of me now wishes I was still watching because I just checked the standings and the Chargers are ahead of the Broncos. I have a few annoying FB friends  (not just @Geoff) that I could be taunting.

KCOP Channel 13 is owned by Fox, along with KTTV-11

Still think this is a highly under-rated team.  Yes, a team is only as good as it closes out games, and I know they are only 4-6.  There is still a chance for the playoffs as the current #6 seed is playing .500 ball.

Wow, they just put a nice beatdown on the Cowboys in Dallas. This was also Rivers first Thanksgiving day game.

Glad the game wasn't closer so that  the kicker wouldn't f*ck us again!  The Chargers will make the playoffs this year, I'm calling it now.  They will be the team nobody wants to face!

Another W, now 6-2 after that 0-4 start and the two losses were to New England up there and a heartbreaking loss from ahead to the Jags.  This team is tied for the AFC West division lead and has head to heads vs. KC and Oakland amongst their last 4 (the other two are Redskins and Jets).  Not an easy schedule to wrap up but all winnable if we keep playing like we are now.  Keep ballin' Boltz!
