That sucks that we had to pay Hamilton and they get out from this.

Unless the only appeal is to Manfred, I find it hard to believe this can hold up. He was not charged, and there's no precedent for anything close to that kind of punishment for DV in the past, plus he's already been effectively suspended for basically a whole season. This feels like Manfred trying to save the Dodgers.

Yes he will MLB sending a message plus he is a butt head. Bauer and MLB be tied up in courts for years. He will be old to pitch

I think this is the league attempting to show it cares about this sort of thing and Bauer is just the guy in the crosshairs.  But yeah, its hard to believe the union isn't going to go hard on this.

Guess we will find out what the agreements between league and the union are on things like this.

Many crimes people are not charged. case load for DA time and money chance of losing case.
