Okay so what will the Angels potential draft order be? Is top 10 a lock? They could fall to 12? Is it too soon to see what talent will be available 1-15? Is it a big gap?

For those that care about the Angels getting the best draft positioning: it'd, be best for them to finish among the worst 10 teams, since the Mets are guaranteed the 11th overall pick after not signing Kumar Rocker.

So if the Angels are the 11th worst team, they actually end up picking 12th. If they're 12th worst, it becomes the 13th overall pick. If they're 13th worst, it becomes the 14th overall pick. Etc.

Do you realize how damn hard it is to suck enough to make it to the ten worst teams? I see the Angels are trying these last couple weeks but some of those teams started back in April and are not relinquishing their draft picks.
