This batshit woman was from San Diego and a Padres fan. The Angels nearest divisional rivals are the A's and those crack whores can't find their way south of Hayward before their money runs out for bus fare.

Crack whores? Is it 1986 again?

It's funny that some of you guys have more sympathy for Bauer, who is still getting paid his monster contract despite not working, than you do for the minor leaguers who get paid peanuts to play the same game.

Who are "you guys?"

One has nothing to do with the other. Nothing. Nada.

Something is wrong with you and the narrow lens you are seeing the world through. This is about a player denied the right to suit up and play. Anything else you are trying to attach to this is a false narrative.

There is no "right" to play.  They're following procedures that have been collectively bargained. Note that the MLBPA has raised no (public) objections to the continuations of administrative leave.  Bauer still gets paid while on leave, too.

It's not going away, Bauer is not retiring. They have to face the blowback from the public that they have no cause to deny him a roster spot

They can't just ban him from baseball. If they do then Bauer is going to get paid hundreds of millions in an ugly public lawsuit.

Huh? They can deny him a roster spot by releasing him.

The only bad thing about this, is that Bauer only signed a 3 year contract with the Doggies.  I wish it was 10 years so they are on the hook longer.

Looking at Cot's, looks like the administrative leave still counts against the Luxury tax, and he's the highest paid player on the team.

And looks like MLB/MLBPA is following the book.  You can place a player on administrative leave for 7 days to investigate with MLB and MLBPA approval.  Although it's getting a bit ridiculous the number of times they are going to the well.

Certainly but it allows him to find a roster spot elsewhere. Currently he is held under contract but refused a roster spot by indefinite suspensions. It doesn't make what MLB and the Players Union are doing ethical.
