So then there is a real possibility that this accuser got the injuries elsewhere and made all this up? What happens to her now? She mentally evaluated and placed in a mental hospital? Jail time? Does Bauer sue her for all his legal fees? Does she just get away with no repercussions? She can just be like, "oh well, I couldn't fool them, back to my life"???? Bauer's career in MLB could be over because someone spread lies about him?

It might be a little of both parties not having clean hands in this. But my intuition from her texts about wanting to disrupt the Dodgers, lead me to think this was orchestrated rather than happenstance.

But its reasonable enough to absolutely look like thats what happened.

To me I think the plan was to just blackmail him for go away money. The fact she hired an independent lawyer is always suspect.

There was literally no actual reason to try and obtain a restraining order (and when that failed, you knew there was no case). But the fact she went to a lawyer and the media is suspect... you only do that for money....
