One way to look at it is to say the Angels will get Trout, Rendon, Walsh and Detmers at the deadline. Huge additions.

The correct way to look at it is to say everyone else improved, the Angels promoted a prospect and hoped for good health.

But we are not getting them at the deadline.  It will be at least a week or two more.

LMAO if Perry did one thing

This is what happens when you have zero direction as an organization. Last night they looked like they were buyers then 2 hours prior they’re sellers.

Another opportunity waste in what appeared to be a huge sellers market

It’s possible the Angels received very few offers or were being offered complete crap in return. It’s possible it isn’t a fail but I understand your point

IF we do not re-sign them it is a major fail.  That is because we lost them for nothing.

It doesn't matter how crappy the offers were.  They are something in return.  This off season both could be walking away and we got nothing.

BTW a lot of weaker pitchers were moved

Of course it matters how crappy the offers were.

but we could have traded them and re-sign them anyway.

Does this imply we're gonna try to re-sign Cobb and Raisel in the offseason? I could see it with Raisel but I'd steer clear of Cobb.

I don't have a problem extending either of them.  However if they are gone and we got nothing in trade than Minassian is an idiot.
