He is under contract.   He is being paid while injured because he is under contract.

If he asks for a trade (which he won't) tell him to shut the F*** up and go out and play.  A contracts is a two way street.  He is guaranteed his money even if he cant play due to injury.  Angeks are guaranteed Trout services (if they want them) for another 9 years.

It’s worth noting- Trout interviews suggest the injury happened in the outfield but he came out after batting and running the bases.  Anyone know anything about this?

I believe the pop-up he mentioned was Walsh's, while Trout was on the basepath, not one while Trout was in the field.

You don't know if he will or won't and what Angels would do. He also has a no trade contract, I just think he might ask someday. He wants to win and halos are in 6th straight losing season. So maybe Angels will want to get out of the contract since year after year after year play under 500. Thanks for all the knowledge that he is getting paid while injured and that he is under contract. So halos pay his medical bills?
