He's been excellent this year and his FIP supports it. 

Relievers are fickle as hell. I don't give a shit if he sucked last year or the year before. I care about now. 

What concerns me is this is the Rays we're trading with. They probably know something.

Rengifo would be a gross overpay.

This is the season, right here and now. May's schedule is sheer brutality and we're already 6.5 games back. We have to make a move very soon to turn this around. By the end of this month we could be 10 games back and virtually out of it.
