Makes me wonder why the Rays are practically giving him away.  He's the perfect fit for the Rays, league minimum, overperforming stats.  And yet he's given away for a PTBNL and cash.  Something doesn't seem right.

It’s good they’re doing something as opposed to just waiting around to see if the coaching staff can figure it out.  Relievers are what they are.  Hopefully he keeps up the good start in Tampa.  I think the angels really need to be on the look out for eating contracts of decent relievers from teams that don’t care about winning this year.  I think there’s opportunity there.  In this case it looks like there were some roster considerations for the Rays.  The Rays seem a lot smarter than the Angels also so…..anyway.  Just money.
