Hopefully someone down in the minors looks good enough to replace Quintana in the rotation. I just don't see any upside with him at all.

Yep.  And for someone brought in to in theory be a reliable innings-eater, he's now gone 3.1, 1.2, 5.0, and 3.1 innings in his 4 starts.

Jose Quintana neither offers quality nor quantity. He's a Harvey-Cahill-Teheran retread. Hopefully Barria, Suarez or Sandoval can't figure it out, otherwise, they should seriously consider transitioning Chris Rodriguez back to the rotation, or promote Reid Detmers.

Not really, it's just an idea. One thing I do like about Maddon is that he's not afraid to challenge our players. Ohtani is a great example of that. 

So is having Rodriguez and Rojas make the team out of ST. 

I think we'll see Detmers replace one of Quintana or Canning if one of them doesn't get their shit together soon.
