I learned from this 7 page thread on Kurt Suzuki that Arte should sign some guys to some long contracts in order to make up for some of the previous long bad contracts in the past.  But these ones won't be bad contracts.  Just those ones.  

and we got Kurt Suzuki.  I think.

Kurt is, in baseball terms, old. (He's 37.) Kurt is past his peak. Kurt works, by baseball standards, relatively cheaply. Kurt recently worked part-time for a WS champion. He's perfect. 

Just wondering: Does Kurt understand Japanese? It could be important.
