Got something on my news feed today about a "lambda variant". LOL. It just keeps on coming.

How many letters are there in the Greek alphabet? How many more months/years will our country be locked down and our population fully masked up to keep those numerous 'variants' at bay? How come hardly anyone in America got the flu this year?? 

A friend of mine, fully vaccinated, is pretty sick with COVID now. Or at least that's what the test said. Maybe she just has a bad flu? We were told that vaccinated people would never get very sick with COVID. Do the 'experts' really know what the hell they're talking about?

No we weren't.  We were told getting vaccinated reduced the likelihood of getting really sick from COVID.  Recent data shows vaccinated individuals who have gotten COVID have mostly had mild or no symptoms and the vast majority of people ending up in the hospital something like 97% are unvaccinated.  Viruses mutate and there's nothing out there that guarantees you won't catch one or get sick from it.

Because he directs policy. If he were just a CNN guest doctor spewing his opinions then he would be dismissed easily. But he is the President's official voice for national policy. As such his constant contradictions make him fodder for any criticism. And criticism is justified since state governors form policy in line with federal direction. That direction is a rudderless ship in a storm of misinformation.
